Thank you for your interest in getting kids to walk and bike to school!

As a community resident, I'm sure that you value slower traffic, less cars on the road, more kids out on the sidewalks and streets having fun, less crime, less noise and air pollution, and healthier kids.

We do too. That's why we are offering resources and advice to people who would like to get neighborhood kids walking and biking more. Below you will find links to information about how you can get involved by forming or joining a School Team at the local school. School Teams help organize Walk + Bike to School day events, which may lead to comprehensive Safe Routes to School programs in their neighborhoods, with the right leadership and tools.
